As the Covid-19 pandemic rolls on going out to take photographs and take on new projects is, as everything these days, more and more difficult. However, I recently did a photoshoot for a wonderful new business called 'Forgotten Bohemian', based in Poole. New, pre-loved and vintage bohemian clothes and accessories available online. Many thanks to Stephanie, whose brainchild this is and I wish her all the very best. And having had a sneaky peek of some of the gorgeous clothes and jewellery, I am very excited for her!
Kirsty Wood for 'Forgotten Bohemian' clothing range - new. pre-loved and vintage.
September has spoilt us with some beautiful warm sunny days here in the New Forest (where I live). And I finally got to create an image I have wanted to photograph for a long while. Thanks to the gorgeous and fearless Amelia I was able to shoot some images inspired by the painting 'Ophelia' by Sir John Everett Millais This stunning Pre-Raphaelite artwork is one of my favourite paintings and is displayed at the Tate Britain.
One of the most fun yet challenging shoots in a while, involving cold water, onlooking dog walkers, flowers, a beautiful model in a floaty dress (which I bought from a charity shop) and hanging over the side of a lake !
