Hello, how are you? On writing this we (England) find ourselves reaching 'Freedom Day' and beyond. Restrictions are lifted and life is looking more and more like before. However, Coronavirus remains with us and I hope that you and yours are staying safe and well. Work wise it is such a relief to get back to it! After a quiet time there is more interest once again in my work and my diary feels less neglected now. So looking forward to getting out and about and meeting new people!
Was lucky to get down to Bournemouth Beach recently to do some promo shots for local clothing enterprise Forgotten Bohemian, for their upcoming event the 'Forgotten Party' a Pop Up Boutique, Live Art, Photography Exhibition, Festival Themed Stalls, and Entertainment. COMPETITION SUCCESS:
Received some awesome news earlier this year - I have been awarded third place in the 'Food for Celebration' category of the prestigious international food photography competition, the 'Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year 2021'. Ordinarily I would have been invited to a champagne awards evening BUT thanks to Covid there was none this year (boo hoo). So I got sent a 'plaque' of sorts. However I was over the moon, I never thought for a minute that I would be placed and have my work recognised in this way. You can see my entry in the finalists galleries here at https://www.pinkladyfoodphotographeroftheyear.com/finalists-gallery-2021/ . My image is entitled 'Fun and Macaroons', it is a fun spontaneous shot of some fabulous party girls having a laugh (and macaroons).
